Description

Responsible for the coordination and implementation of the activities related to laboratory safety, facility, equipment maintenance, laboratory procurement, inventory management and lab administration.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the laboratory's daytoday operations which include laboratory organization, laboratory facilities, laboratory accessibility and security and safety protocols. Ensure all activities follow Biosafety level laboratory2 requirement
  • Ensure a GLP (good laboratory practice) working environment to perform experiments for diagnostic assay development safety and efficiency
  • Update or prepare new (when necessary) laboratory operations and biosafety SOPs to address issues and risks in a timely manner
  • Manage/perform supply logistics, including forecasting and procuring materials for R&D requirements and inventory control
  • Participate in internal and external site audits related to lab asset management, equipment servicing and Quality Management System (QMS) processes
  • Liaise with clients such as vendors for pricing, charges, workflows, policy changes and implementation
  • Drive the improvement of lab management and QMS processes
  • Perform other relevant tasks as assigned

Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree or above in biomedical science related field
  • Preferably with certification of laboratory safety and risk management
  • Preferably 5 years relevant experience
  • Familiar with SAP or ERP system
  • Strong problemsolving skills and mentoring abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment
  • Familiar with Biological Agents and Toxins Act in Singapore
  • Familiar with ISO 13485 certification process and supply chain management
