    Description

    Role Description:

    The Sales and Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving the success of the company by overseeing both sales activities and operational processes. This multifaceted position requires a blend of strategic planning, leadership, and hands-on management to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional service to customers.

    Specific Responsibilities:
    1. Trainee will conduct a comprehensive assessment of current sales and operational processes, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis). Meet with key team members, including sales representatives, technicians, and administrative staff, to gather insights and feedback. Set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals for sales growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
    2. Trainee will develop a robust sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives and addresses identified weaknesses and opportunities. Implement sales training programs to enhance the skills of sales representatives, focusing on product knowledge, negotiation techniques, and customer relationship management. Review and optimize the sales pipeline and CRM system to improve lead management and conversion rates.
    3. Trainee to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in operational processes, prioritizing areas such as inventory management, scheduling, and service delivery. Implement streamlined procedures and automation tools to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Evaluate resource utilization across different departments and projects. Adjust staffing levels, equipment allocation, and workflow distribution to maximize productivity while minimizing waste.
    4. Trainee will implement quality control measures to ensure consistency and reliability in service delivery. Establish checkpoints and performance standards to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and minimize errors or rework. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for trainee to enhance their skills and adapt to evolving industry standards.
    5. Trainee will be able to conduct surveys and gather feedback from customers to identify pain points and areas for improvement in the service delivery process. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the customer experience, such as implementing a customer loyalty program or improving communication channels. Learn on how to deliver exceptional customer service and handling customer complaints effectively.
    6. Trainee will assess the skills and capabilities of the sales and operations teams, identifying areas for development and potential leadership candidates. Implement training programs and mentoring opportunities to develop the leadership skills of key team members. Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the team, encouraging open communication and mutual support.
    7. Trainee will undergo a comprehensive performance review to assess progress towards goals and identify areas for further improvement. Solicit feedback from team members on the effectiveness of implemented strategies and initiatives.
    8. Trainee will develop action plans to address any remaining challenges and capitalize on opportunities for growth. Continuously monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to ensure ongoing success.
