About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our growing team

The role will involve:

Leading an electronics research project whilst mentoring graduates and team members.
Reviewing relevant articles, papers and patents and meeting with suppliers to keep informed of emerging technologies.
Designing, building, and testing demonstration rigs to prove feasibility of new technologies and products.
Creating clear technical reports and presenting design details and expected performance to others.
Working with a creative and methodical approach to problem solving.
Work with the cross functional team to plan project work, assign tasks and take responsibility for project delivery.
Identify and communicate technical risks and improvements in the way we work.

About you:

Degree or equivalent experience in electronic engineering or comparable discipline.
More than 3 years of handson experience with high speed digital circuit or mixsignal circuits.
Experience with hardware design and testing involving highs speed digital interfaces such as PCIe, USB, DDR, LPDDR, SDIO, HDMI, MIPI-CSI, MIPI-DSI, SPI, I2C, etc.
Understand first principle of signal integrity and power integrity.
Experience with signal integrity simulation with Hyperlynx, Matlab, or similar tools is desirable.
Knowledgeable in high speed PCB material selection, stackup, routing, impedance control.
Experience with timing analysis, eye diagram analysis, and measurement.
Knowledge of EMI/EMC countermeasures, design for manufacturing and design for test.
Experience using FPGA, Python is advantage.
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Schematic capture and PCB design using Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics or other mainstream tools.
Use of SPICE based simulation tools such as Simetrix and LTspice.
Experience of working in a laboratory environment. Use of lab equipment to set up experiments and to take precise measurements.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Experience creating verification plans.
Able to communicate complex ideas to a range of experts in different fields.
