    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Description:

    1. Lead BYD Commercial After-sales Service Department.
    2. Cooperate with relevant matrix functions in the dealership (eg: Commercial Department, Parts Sales Management, Service Management)
    3. Take measures in improving results such as team motivation, streamlining work flows to meet business objectives.
    4. Manage and control After-sales standard processes and audit exercise as per manufacturer's requirements.
    5. Ensure workshop compliance within legal requirements and safety standards.
    6. Maintain strong collaborative relationship with manufacturer.
    7. Due diligence in all repairs and minimize downtime of vehicles.
    8. Monitor warranty campaigns and service bus workshop team at various bus depots.
    9. Keep in touch with the automotive bodies/authorities and major competitors for constant assessments of business condition/situation to keep track closely of the relevancy of the strategies deployed. Stay abreast with industry standards and market condition.
    10. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management.

    Requirements:

    1. Recognized Degree Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent, with 5 years of relevant working experience in workshop management.
    2. Possess relevant working experience in automotive industry with a good understanding of after-sales operation.
    3. Minimum 10 years of managerial role with hands- on experience on both mechanical and electrical skills.
    4. Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
    5. People Management, particularly in terms of educating teamwork for achievement through building strong alliances.
    6. Pro-active, independent, able to work under pressure and fast-paced environment.
    7. Able to work well, cross function and at all levels, with the ability to provide solutions and problem solving.
    8. Proficient in MS-Office applications. Knowledge in SAP and CRM, an added advantage.
