Roles & Responsibilities


Looking for a broad level of experience and understanding of international trade General Manager to lead and oversee the development of the total business, both locally and overseas, and provide corporate goals and directions to ensure success, maximize revenue and profit, and accountability to the stakeholders.

Duties for the General Manager will include allocating budget resources, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, engaging with vendors, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities.

Assisting our organization in maintaining relationships with clients, generating new business, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and meeting business objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing daily business operations and responsible for business planning and control, marketing & sales, business development, implementing and improving standard processes and tools to drive operational efficiencies, and met operational and financial commitments.
  • Overseeing recruitment while providing mentorship to the team which including managing and training top management staff, and coaching the hiring process of key personnel positions.
  • Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage important business opportunities such as sales, projects, consulting, engagements and partnership.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with various external stakeholders and partners to ensure customer retention.
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses to ensure the financial viability and cost structure is regularly analyzed and appropriate measures are taken to monitor and reduce costs in relation to the operations.
  • Give strategic direction and handson leadership to the management team to drive commercial growth.
  • Managing and supervising company's business chain.

Requirements:


  • Minimum a Degree in Petroleum Engineering/Business/Economics
  • At least 20 years experiences in oil & gas industry, must have knowledge in international trade experiences in similar role and industry with a proven track record of operations management.
  • Previous knowledge in oil & gas, frozen products and agricultural products international trading is PLUS.
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, organizational, budgetary and project management skills.
  • Well developed leadership, people management, problem solving, planning and management skills.
  • Willing to go on oversea business trips, longterm stay at overseas may be required. International work experience, especially in Asia, will be advantageous.
