Technical Expert - Singapore - SP POWERGRID LIMITED

Description

What You'll Do:

Duties could range from the following:

1. Attend to customers' feedbacks and / or 22kV equipment's alarm and fault
2. Perform site management and supervise contractors
3. Assist engineers in carrying out high voltage equipment maintenance, equipment fault repairs and / or liaise with the relevant Authorities to execute work assignments
4. Perform 6.6kV or low voltage switching, load transfers and safe isolation of high voltage equipment, site management and supervise contractors and staff
5. Plan and implement the various works programmes in accordance to budget provisions and schedules
6. Prepare and collate information for monthly reports
7. Ensure records are filed properly and data are updated promptly in systems
8. Attend to customers' complaints & feedbacks and / or equipment alarm and fault
9. Perform standby duty during and after office hours for network incidents
10. Prepare contingency plans and performs standby duty for special event

What You'll Need:

1. Diploma in relevant Engineering field from any of the recognised Polytechnics in Singapore
2. 2-3 years of relevant working experience in power related fields is preferred
3. Knowledge in electrical low voltage network would be an advantage
4. Timeliness and good management of multiple tasks
5. Able to work independently and as a team member
6. Good observation and analytical skills
7. Responsible and take ownership of tasks assigned
8. Able to work on odd timings upon activation, ad-hoc tasks beyond work scope and public holidays and weekends if necessary
