The Assistant Internal Audit Manager 's responsible is:

Determine the risks associated with internal control, and plan an audit to be carried out in relation to the allocation of resources
Perform audits effectively and obtain an evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls of the organisation
Ensure that audit techniques and skills are constantly improved to serve the organisation in an effective way
Lead audit tasks to help team address problem areas and carry out difficult tasks
Ad hoc duties as assigned
