JOB SUMMARY:

Directs and coordinates human resources activities such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee relations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage all HR functions to ensure compliance with local laws and effective operations.
Lead recruitment and oversee new employee background checks. Create and manage effective onboarding programs.
Manage employee relations issues, ensuring HR policies and procedures are in place and in compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Monitor the quality of staff performance including review of disciplinary actions, recommendations for suspension or termination
Schedule and conduct annual performance appraisal. Facilitate, review and recommend promotions and compensation revisions.
Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan and aligns with organizational objectives
Work with payroll vendor to manage all payroll related activities & reviews payroll every month.
Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee's resignation.
Oversee the training and development for the site in collaboration with L&D specialist.
Manage industrial relations issues and establish relationships with external organizations including government agencies; and professional associations
Supervise the financial issues for the HR budget including benefits, labour & salary reports and plan cost effective events within the HR budget guidelines
Assess the development and effectiveness of all levels of employees and the manpower needs and recommend strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies/ contracts comply with the Singapore law.
Provide professional HR advices and services to the Management Team and update any new HR trend or change in labour legislation
Participate in adhoc human resources projects as required.
