Job Title: Integration Analyst and Engineer (1-year Contract)

Job Summary:

As an Integration Analyst and Engineer with a strong API focus, you'll play a pivotal role in the Supply Chain and Logistics industry. Your expertise lies in crafting and implementing API-based integration solutions using Boomi IPAAS. This role demands a profound understanding of API technologies and Boomi proficiency to ensure seamless data exchange and process optimization across various systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

• Work closely with stakeholders to grasp integration needs, particularly focusing on API-based solutions.
• Analyze business processes and data flows to pinpoint API integration points and technical requirements.

Technical Design:

• Craft technical designs for API-based integration solutions within Boomi IPAAS, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
• Define API specifications, covering endpoints, request/response formats, and authentication methods.
• Ensure compliance with internal firm standards for architecture and design, under the guidance of the Application Platform Owner.

Documentation:

• Produce comprehensive technical documentation for API integrations, including API specifications and integration architecture.
• Maintain documentation throughout the integration lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

API Development:

• Implement API-based integration solutions within the Boomi IPAAS platform, adhering to design specifications and industry standards.
• Develop custom APIs, configure connectors, and design API workflows to facilitate smooth data exchange.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Perform unit testing to validate developed integrations, ensuring API functionality and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with testing teams to execute integration tests and address identified issues.

Deployment and Support:

• Assist with integration deployments, including go-live activities and hypercare support for API-based solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for API integrations, promptly resolving technical issues.
• Expected to engage with support in an L2/L3 capacity and be heavily involved in developing mapping specifications and executing integrations within Boomi IPAAS.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay abreast of API technologies and emerging trends in integration and IPAAS solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancement and optimization in the API integration landscape.
• Work closely with the Application Platform Owner to offer advisory guidance on integration platform architectural matters and complex integration requirements.

Project Management:

• Take ownership of integration projects, effectively managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Implement project management best practices to streamline processes and ensure successful project execution.
• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders, aligning with business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in enterprise system integration and engineering in multinational corporations, with the ability to influence vendors to adhere to company specifications for significant integration projects.
• Previous experience with Boomi IPAAS and strong expertise in API integration.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or similar.
• In-depth understanding of API technologies, including RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and API authentication methods.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Preferred experience in the Supply Chain and Logistics industry, but not mandatory.
• Worked in a large IT department integrating customer-facing and internal enterprise systems.
• Preferably, worked in logistics companies and possess working knowledge of WMS.
• Relevant certifications in API technologies or Boomi IPAAS are advantageous.
• Familiarity with GWS and Google Cloud software.
