    Main Objective:

    The primary responsibility of the Master Data Analyst, APAC is to ensure the accurate creation and maintenance of high-quality master data for Arthrex materials and customers across the Asia Pacific region. This role supports global business operations by implementing regional policies and procedures that align with global standards, safeguarding a critical company asset—master data that enables seamless information sharing, transaction processing, and operational planning.

    As a key liaison to global process owners in Product Lifecycle Management, Procure-to-Pay (PTP), and Order-to-Cash (OTC), the Master Data Analyst receives ongoing guidance, tools, and training to ensure regional practices are consistent with global master data governance. This collaboration ensures data integrity and supports the company's strategic goals.

    Master Data Analyst key stakeholders whom he/she will work on a regular basis

    • INC MDG (Master Data Governance): defines the organizational structure, policies, standards, ownership and metrics that are used to manage data.
    • Subsidiary Data Requestors: Functional Team members within the business or subsidiary-specific organization responsible for providing the source data of the master data needed in each country, e.g. country Demand Planners may provide material master data for locally purchased products (Retail), or product extension requests that is facilitated through APAC Master Data Management team.
    • Subsidiary Data Stewards: Local Regulatory, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Sourcing and Distribution professionals who provide and use specific master data

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    The main duties of the Master Data Analyst are: Data Administration, Data Stewardship, Product Lifecyle Management Facilitation and Process Improvements.

    Data Administration includes those tasks necessary to set up and maintain the respective Master Data in the SAP system.

    • Create new material master data based on requests from subsidiary data requestors.
    • Run costing for materials at regional/plant level.
    • Maintain and enrich related data (e.g., Purchase Info Records, Source Lists).
    • Create/amend customer master data after quality checks.
    • Process change requests for material and customer master data in collaboration with country teams.
    • Analyze and resolve data issues affecting downstream transactions.
    • Ensure data integrity through regular data maintenance.
    • Adhere to service level agreements with subsidiary data requestors and stewards.

    Data Stewardship includes setting up and maintaining the regional procedures necessary for creating and maintaining high quality data. They are:

    • Maintain strong relationships with subsidiary data requestors and country data stewards.
    • Monitor and report on regional data quality and SLA compliance.
    • Review and improve processes for greater efficiency and accuracy, aligned with company standards.
    • Coordinate with key stakeholders (e.g., Quality, Finance) to ensure required attributes are correctly reflected in the material master for seamless SAP transactions.

    Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) facilitation involves collaborating with commercial and Product Managers/Marketing to ensure that product lifecycle strategies are implemented timely and accurately in the ERP system. They are:

    • Establishing appropriate master data settings to support the new product ramp-up or phase-out strategies
    • Assist to speed products to market by planning for and streamlining material master data setup for new product launches
    • Facilitate the collection of relevant data to compile specific PLM strategies

    Assist with or lead special projects, but not limited to Process Improvements, including presentations materials and other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experiences
    • Minimum of 5 years Master Data experience or related experiences within Supply Chain
    • Excellent analytical abilities and attention to details
    • Knowledge of how the multiple SAP Master Data impact the business
    • Good written and oral English language communication skills.
    • Ability to work well within a group environment.
    • Proficiency in any additional language is advantageous.
