Roles and Responsibilities

Perform SIT testing across all IT projects.
Work with Project Manager, System Analyst, Business Analyst and testing vendor to define and agree on testing strategy, scope and coverage.
Have strong financial domain knowledge and is up to date with regulatory requirements
Cocoordinating with various teams to ensure testing schedule and deadlines are met
Perform test cases design and execution of test cases.
Review test scenario and test cases created.
Design Test plans, map Requirement Traceability Matrix, Prepare Closure reports, daily and weekly status reports.
Monitor progress of test execution to ensure meeting testing timeline.
Track and manage defects throughout the test period until closure and sign off testing phase (SIT / UAT).
Conduct Defect management meeting with development vendors/internal teams.
Exposure in both Agile and Waterfall model

Qualifications

Strong testing domain in financial services is a MUST.
Good troubleshooting skill and have the ability to identify root cause
At least 6 years of experience as a functional test manager in Banking domain.
Good knowledge of SDLC processes, testing methodology and different types of testing.
Familiarity of testing tools such as HP ALM and Jira
Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools
ISTQB/ISEB certifications is an advantage
Digital skill set said as scriptless automation is an advantage
Excellent communication (spoken and written) skills, able to work independently and as a team player.
