**FIXED INCOME ANALYST


Skills Required:


  • Strong working capability in coding, preferably in Python. Ability to efficiently translatebusiness problems to scalable code.
  • Understanding of company financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow. etc)
  • Familiarity with equity/derivatives markets.
  • Experience in asset management, index solutions, outsourced research, or quantitative trading firms will be a plus.
  • Strong domain knowledge of either commodities, currency or fixed income markets (apart from equities) with some exposure to international markets will be a plus.

Role:


  • Assist the Fixed Income Portfolio Manager in conducting research on Bonds.
  • Credit analysis of existing and potential portfolio investments covering all aspects of the security (spreads, covenants, structure), issuer (cashflows, ratings etc.) and macro factors (country, enforcement risks etc.).
  • Assist in portfolio monitoring and risk management (exposure, hedges etc.)
  • Speak with company IR, sell side research, rating agency, industry veterans to get insight on company/industry.
  • Programming skills with ability to handle large data (Python)
