    What You Will Achieve

    You will be operating automatic and manual chemical/fermentation process equipment of varying complexity in various production processes in accordance with operating procedures. You will perform quality control analyses as required to complete in-process batches and identify variations. You will be trained in hazardous material handling and emergency procedures as these processes may generate high pressure and/or critical reactions.

    As part of the Technical Operations team, your prior work experience and ability to apply your breadth of knowledge will help you adapt the standard methods and procedures. You will help us identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.

    How You Will Achieve It

  • Responsible to perform Pre-MI, Post-MI, changeover cleaning of the plant equipment / IBC's used to manufacture Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients in OSP, Dispensary, Mill Building based on established Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Perform Post-MI / IBC / Pre-MI cleaning instructions including manifold connections, spading, equipment readiness.
  • Direct the fitters, contract staff and engineering for mechanical work related with the changeover cleaning as well as preventive maintenance and calibration.
  • Ensure proper communication and handling over of shift duties.
  • Responsible updating of CO Manufacturing Standard Work and Operation Standard work.
  • Complete all documentation according with GMP and GDP standards.
  • Monitor the plant status and liaise with colleagues of other departments to ensure there is no interruption to manufacturing process.
  • Troubleshoot all deviations and issues and coordinate with other function when required.
  • Responsible for preparation and clearing of equipment for maintenance work
  • Take immediate action to resolve any near miss situations.
  • Report / Initiate the Root cause analysis using M1 template for all actual, near misses and potential accidents for further investigation.Assist in investigation of all actual, near misses and potential accidents.
  • Provide information to troubleshoot and take initiative to resolve operational issues independently.
  • Perform system transaction and operation such as LIMS, AMPS, SAP, EMAS, etc
  • Complete all required training by attending scheduled training, CBT, OJT, JSA and read and understand.
  • Follow / Perform IMEX CO standards- update of role cards, Tier 1 board.
  • Identify and communicate all operating deviations and problems.
  • Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
  • Assist in project commissioning and validation activities as necessary.
  • Qualifications

  • Diploma in a technical discipline or GCE 'O/A' levels
  • SeniorProcessTechnician-Minimum3to5 years'relevantexperienceinthepharmaceutical,chemicalorpetrochemicalindustry.
  • Process Technician - Fresh school leaver and up to 2 years' relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical or petrochemical industry
  • Basic functional and technical knowledge of the discipline.
  • Good interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including the ability to maintain an accurate scientific notebook.
  • Computer Skills, such as Microsoft Applications and experience with System Application and Products.
  • Work Location Assignment: On Premise
