Review of Electricity and Natural Gas Network Ten-Year Transmission Development Plan : To review and assess licensee's proposed Ten-Year
Transmission Network Development Plan in meeting the planning criteria to ensure the secure and reliable operation of the electricity and natural gas systems. System studies include contingency analysis, fault level studies, stability studies and survival time analysis.
Perform system studies to assess impact of proposed power plant or consumer connection to the electricity and natural gas systems
Review power plants' performance to check compliance to regulatory requirements which includes onsite witnessing of generator testing.
Integration of new Transmission/Generation technologies to power system.
Technical solutions such as Energy Storage System (ESS), HVDC, electricity import and large scale PV generation.
Conduct review of underfrequency load shedding scheme and electricity & gas interdependency to ensure security and stability of power system.
Regular review of Code/market rules/system operation manuals requirement to ensure its uptodate.
Review facility registration for participation in NEMS and compliance to Market Rules/System Operation Manual.

Relevant background or specialisation in Engineering studies

Following knowledge/experience will be advantageous:
Power system studies and analysis including power system dynamics, power flow, natural gas flow and short-circuit analysis; Design, commissioning and grid integration studies of renewable energy sources and energy storage system

Team-player who is responsible with good working attitude, initiative and ability to work independently.
