Description

Veterinary clinic looking for a full-time veterinary technician who is reliable, highly motivated and passionate to join our growing team in providing excellent care and service to pawrents and their furkids. Our clinic sees mainly dogs and cats.

The clinic is equipped with the following:

• IDEXX blood analyser suite
• Digital radiography
• Ultrasonography
• Multiparameter patient monitoring facilities
• IM3 dental machine
• Dental radiography
• Endoscopy
• Dedicated cat wards and dog wards/runs

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality patient care and to assist the veterinarian.
• Handling and restraint of pets
• Surgical preparation and anaesthetic monitoring
• Assist with surgical and dental procedures
• Triaging of emergency cases
• Care of hospitalized patients
• In-house laboratory/ diagnostic procedures
• General housekeeping
• Some reception duties

Requirements:

• Minimum of Diploma in Veterinary Technology.
• Minimally 3 years work experience
• Able to multitask and work in fast paced environment.
• Passionate about pets
• Computer proficiency
• Effective communicator & great interpersonal skills
• Prefer at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Able to work weekends and weeknights.
