Airswift is seeking to invite an experienced Marine Engineering Coordinator to join one of our clients in the oil and gas industry.

The Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the Hull and Marine engineering team of FPSO EPCI project based in the project office or at Ship Yard working within the contractual requirements of the project to produce engineering tasks and deliverables for Hull and Marine within schedule, budget and to the right quality

Responsibilities:

Marine Engineering Coordination: To Coordinate the multidisciplinary engineering and design activities for Hull and Marine facilities of FPSO project
Engineering Setup: Coordinate with the engineering disciplines to set up Engineering and Design systems, Engineering Schedule, Master document Register (MDR), Procurement Schedule
Engineering Deliverables: Coordinate with the engineering disciplines to issue all deliverables
Engineering Schedule: Develop Level 3 and Level 4 (MDR) schedules of Marine engineering
Management of Changes: Implement engineering change management for the Hull and Marine engineering post design freeze in all disciplines including communication, tracking and approval by the relevant stakeholders
Engineering Interfaces: Coordinate with Engineering disciplines to respond and closeout of Class Society comments, Client Technical Queries, Site Queries and Operation Queries for Hull and Marine
Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with the Ship Yard Engineering subcontractors and Third Party specialists for Hull and Marine facilities
Engineering Resources: Support Marine Engineering Manager in forecasting and mobilizing engineering and design resources for Marine Engineering

Requirements:

Bachelor or Master's in marine engineering
15 years' experience in the oil and gas industry
Have worked as marine engineering coordinator on a at least one FPSO project in the EPCI phase
Possess knowledge of Shipyard engineering processes, knowledge of scope split between Company and Shipyard, knowledge of Naval Architecture, knowledge of Statutory regulations in Marine Industry, knowledge of Marine Engineering sequence and problem solving
Software knowledge : Microsoft office and project Management
