- Manage the daily operations of the company's fleet of vessels, including scheduling, voyage planning, and coordination of activities to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance requirements to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with ship captains, crew members, and shore-based staff to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the implementation of safety procedures and protocols onboard vessels to ensure the safety of personnel, cargo, and the environment.
- Liaise with port authorities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary permits and clearances.
- Manage vessel documentation, including certificates, licenses, and insurance policies, to ensure compliance with international and local regulations.
- Coordinate with technical teams and vendors to schedule and oversee maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of vessel equipment and systems.
- Monitor and analyze operational data, including voyage reports, fuel consumption, and maintenance records, to identify trends, improve performance, and reduce costs.
- Provide support and assistance to vessel captains and crew members as needed, including troubleshooting operational issues and resolving disputes.
- Ensure effective ship management practices, including navigation and information sharing, to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
- Minimum Degree in Maritime / Marine Engineering or equivalent
- At least 4 – 5 years of relevant Vessel / Fleet operations experience in the marine industries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of professionals.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to travel overseas.
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
