What the role is

The Research & Statistics Unit of the Singapore Economic Development Board conducts national surveys on the manufacturing sector to facilitate policy and business decisions.

As an Executive of the Research & Statistics team, you will support the team in compiling timely and accurate data, as well as providing data insights.

What you will be working on

As an Executive of the Research & Statistics team, you will support the team in compiling timely and accurate data, as well as providing data insights.

Your key responsibilities include:

Liaise with companies on their survey submission which includes reviewing their survey submission for completeness and reasonableness, followup with them for clarification where necessary.
Analyse data from various sources and translate it into meaningful insights as part of industry monitoring
Assist in forecasting industries' growth
Prepare statistical reports, infographics or data visualisation for internal and external publication
Perform general administrative duties within the team

What we are looking for

Trained in Business/Business Analytics/Accountancy/Finance preferred
Meticulous, detailedoriented and have good analytical skills
Able to develop strong relationship and communicate confidently with respondents at all levels
A strong team player
Knowledge in Accounting and/or software such as Tableau would be an added asset
