BCS is NETS' wholly owned subsidiary, and is an entity within the NETS Group.

It manages and operates clearing and payment infrastructure for the Singapore Automated Clearing House, including Fast And Secure Transfers (FAST), Inter-bank GIRO (IBG), Cheque Truncation System (CTS), and provides services for PayNow and SGQR Central Repository.


Position Summary


The incumbent will be responsible for the achievement of short-term operational targets and provide system support to internal and external customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform setup, system administration in a heterogeneous environment comprising of VM and Windowsbased servers
  • Manage, deploy, and troubleshoot issues for vCenter and VMWare environments
  • Implement operating system and productspecific security hardening & patches
  • Perform performance tuning and capacity planning when required
  • Work in a team to implement the underlying processes supporting IT service management, such as configuration management and incident and problem management

Requirements:


  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
  • VMware and/or Linux Administrator certifications will be a plus
  • At least 7 years of experience in system administration and supporting Microsoft Windows/ VMware
  • Proven capability in performing OS hardening and patching using WSUS/SCCM
  • Experience in performing VMWare hardening and patching
  • Experience in installing and configuring vCenter and VMWare
  • Proficient in Active-Directory administration
  • Strong knowledge of VMWare Virtualization, vMotion, DRS and distributed switch
  • Knowledgeable in Ansible software and PowerShell script will be advantageous
  • Familiar with data center operations
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
  • Customeroriented and possess good initiative
  • Resilient and able to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
