    SALARY RANGE : SGD 7,000 - SGD 10,000

    A DAY IN A LIFE

    At Teleport, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes you will have the opportunity to get involved with other parts of the business. In your role as Manager, Sales (Cargo) you are the face of Teleport to our customers and help us to grow our business. Selling international cargo capacity in the region, you are key for the success of Teleport in this market. You will report to the Country General Manager for Singapore. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

    • Build strong relationships with our customer base and grow the cargo business in Singapore.
    • Stay present through personal customer visits, meetings, events, or via phone and conference calls;
    • Provide quotations and spot rates for customer business, follow-up and close the deal;
    • Participate in tenders and RFQs for larger deals. This includes working with Revenue Mgmt and other departments to come up with pricing and operational solutions for the customer;
    • Provide market reports to Revenue Management and the Management team, such as pricing, competitors and customer demand;
    • Work with Air Operations, Standards and Process Improvement to troubleshoot customer complaints and help improve our service;

    Requirements

    These are minimum-requirement skills and a 'must-have' for the role:

    • Experience working with senior leadership in both early stage and larger, regional organizations - a strong understanding of the trade-offs inherent in organizations of differing sizes
    • Agile all-rounder - must be equally adept at strategy, tactical decision making and operations
    • Growth is a team sport - demonstrate a track record of leading and building successful cross-functional teams that have put something new or unique out into the world
    • A special ability to juggle multiple priorities and build a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment
    • Strong analytical skills, understands complex issues, quickly absorbs information, excels in conceptual and creative problem solving
    • Curious and well-read
    • An engaging oral and written communicator
    • Strong personal branding and comes highly recommended by peers, external vendors / partners, bosses and/or teams managed by you

    These are skills that are 'nice-to-have' and will make you stand-out in the job application:

    • Track record of mentorship and growing people below you
    • Demonstrable experience hacking growth strategies/models for the entire demand marketing/ growth function

    Qualifications

    • Total 10+ years of experience with regional Southeast Asia experience
    • Previous experience in Air Cargo or Logistics
