- To report to the Head of Home, PERTAPIS Children's Home
- Oversee the programme department including academic and moral education programs.
- Work closely with the Deputy Heads in programme planning and implementation.
- Undertakes programme development and make recommendations for current and or new programme enhancement.
- Develops, executes and manages the Home's programs.
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of the Home's programmes.
- Coordinates with various stakeholders to execute programme, manage communications and feedback from stakeholders.
- Build and establish effective working relationship with stakeholder and establish contacts with schools, corporate bodies, government agencies, other voluntary organizations and existing partners.
- Liaise with internal and external source for venue and catering logistics for workshops / programmes / activities.
- Prepare program proposals and grant applications including budget planning.
- Maintain social media accounts under the supervision of Deputy Heads.
- Update notice boards.
- Recruit, orientate, train, supervise and evaluate new and existing volunteers in strengthening and developing the programmes in the Home.
- Maintain and grow volunteer base through outreach to individuals, community-based organizations and groups, schools, and corporations as needed.
- Develop and maintain process to review applications, check references and interview potential individual volunteers.
- Assess interests/skills of volunteers and match with appropriate programmes and activities.
- Provide accurate and timely volunteer data for funder and volunteer-requested reports.
- Engage with existing volunteers and provide feedback and additional guidance as needed.
- Maintain ongoing communications with volunteers through mail news blasts and e-newsletters.
- Develop and administer annual volunteer satisfaction survey.
- Liaising with external organisation for Corporate Social Responsibility opportunities.
- Work closely with Deputy Head to coordinate and execute fund-raising campaigns to meet the Home's target.
- To carry out any other relevant tasks as required for the Home and PERTAPIS.
- Minimum Diploma qualification related to the relevant field.
- At least 1 years of relevant working experience
- Pleasant and outgoing personality, strong written & oral communication skills
- Experience working in non profit organisations and managing events preferred
- Passionate about working with children.
