Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of advanced analytics projects to solve complex business problems.
Develop and deploy predictive models, recommendation engines, and other machine learning solutions to drive business outcomes.
Lead the end-to-end process of data collection, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation to extract actionable insights.
Mentor and coach junior data scientists, providing guidance on best practices, methodologies, and techniques.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements, and translate them into analytics solutions.
Lead the development of data-driven dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and technologies in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and evaluate their potential impact on the business.
Drive continuous improvement in data quality, data governance, and data management practices across the organization.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering impactful analytics solutions.
Expertise in machine learning algorithms and techniques, including regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries such as pandas, NumPy, or MATLAB.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive, and proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
