    Roles & Responsibilities

    Would you like to service customers? Are you a detail and result-orientated person? Do you have an ambition to succeed in After Sales? If your answer is "Yes", then you are the person we are looking for Based in Singapore, your job is to provide administrative support, technical support and troubleshooting solutions to our customers in the Region. You will be part of a small and Dynamic team in Singapore and reporting to our Service Manager and work very closely with our After Sales Service Department in Denmark.

    Our customers include ship owning companies, technical management companies and engine makers. Our usual point of contact is technical directors, technical managers, Superintendents and Chief Procurement Officers.

    The job

    In the beginning of your employment, you will be trained in Singapore and may have to travel to our HQ in Denmark, where you will undergo extensive in-house training on our products, spare parts, systems, and processes so as to service our customers with knowledge and professionalism.

    The job scopes described below is not exclusive or exhaustive and may varies as you progress:

    Tasks and responsibilities

    Your primary work will consist of supporting our regional customers, where you will, among other things, will advise on installations, engine problems, fuel types, operating patterns etc. In addition, the tasks consist of, among other things, of:


    • Technical support and troubleshooting.


    • Handle complaint and warranty cases.


    • Make quotations and carry out follow-up.


    • Briefing and debriefing of our service engineers.


    • Make technical service reports.


    • Be part of our on-call system.


    • Ad hoc tasks.

    Your profile

    You have a technical background as a marine engineer, mechanical engineer, electrician, automation specialist or similar. The most important thing is that you have an interest in engineering and mechanics.

    It is desirable that you have practical sailing experience with larger 2-stroke diesel engines, but not an absolute requirement, as we carry out internal training. You have a passion in customer service and a talent in putting people at ease as well as problem solving. Excellent communication skill, interpersonal skill and liaison skill are also essential in engaging on a day-to-day work with the stakeholders and customers. If you have experience in outreaching and closing sales (service and spare parts), that will be an advantage.
