Roles & Responsibilities

As a key member of the mechanical engineering team, you will work on cross-functional team projects to develop and deliver new and innovative technical solutions for medical products.

You will play a critical role in medical robotic projects developing and integrating diagnostic, interventional, and machine learning technologies.

Specifically, you will provide electro-mechanical engineering expertise for product development and integration.

You will be working on designing mechanisms and structures, and integrating actuators, motion components, and sensors to achieve innovative product functionalities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
• 02 years experience in the design & development of electromechanical or robotic system.
• Experience or strong interests in the design and development of electromechanical or robotic system.

Preferred Expertise/Experience

• Great academic achievements with at least 2nd Upper Honours. First Class Honours preferred.
• Able to communicate and write documents in Mandarin
• Strong technical capability to understand designs for mechanical structure and electromechanical assemblies.
• Strong interest in mechanism design, kinematic and dynamic of mechanics, especially in precision mechanism.
• Good knowledge of various materials (metal and plastic) and manufacturing processes for product design.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modelling and simulation software SolidWorks, engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge and experience in GD&T, tolerance stackup analysis.
• Good knowledge and experience in performing FEA and motion analysis and technical review of mechanism design.

Responsibilities

• Involved in product development related to highprecision structure and electromechanical systems.
• Work with crossfunctional teams on detailed electromechanical design at system level, subsystems, modules, and components level.
• Support and review critical technical development related to electromechanical system.
• Support feasibility study on conceptual design for new products.
• Resolve issues and improve product reliability.
• Ensure the product design and functionalities meet user needs, able to meet cost target and quality specifications.
• Perform analytical studies, risk assessment, mechanical verification, and validation.
• Coordinate design and production activities locally or with overseas partners. Work trips to HQ is expected.
• Ensure proper documentation (Design History File) for mechanical design.
