Job Description:

JD Project Engineer
Analyzes customer's requirements to determine the optimal process control system solution and determines applicable control configuration/architecture

Performs conceptual process control systems design, determination of process control system strategy, design of assembled programming

Manage engineering delivery with local and back end engineers support

Provide on-site process control system start-up as required.

May require to work on project cost estimates and proposals


Plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor progress of the project in consultation of LE and PM to manage project timeline and budgets.

Contribute and lead technical discussion, engineering plan, FAT, SAT with customer

Cost reduction through process & manufacturing improvement, and through development of reusable engineering or engineering standard.

Lead and guide the engineers working under the project

Provide verbal and written reports to communicate project status as required and contribute to project review meetings.

Visit internal/external panel manufacturing facilities to assess progress, provide technical assistance and for final inspection and sign off.

Client liaison and interface with management

Development and maintenance of customer relationship

Team player with the ability to integrate with other team project members

Review project hardware/software for compliance with applicable codes/standards and assure personnel/machinery safety practices are fully implemented

Attends, participates in the preparation and presentation of technical papers in industry symposiums and trade shows, as applicable

Coordinate customer requirements with engineering and other appropriate departments to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved


Requirement
Bachelor degree in Electronics, Electrical or equivalent Engineering discipline

Previous use of SAP and IFS business systems.

Experience with MS Office software products Excel, Word, Project, Visio, etc.

Previous use of Application Code Manager or other types of Standard Code Development environments.

Previous use of PLC software.

Experience with instrumentation engineering and field installation work is added advantage.


Able and willing to work at customer sites, including industrial plants, ships, etc., which may require climbing, working in confined spaces and other unusual work environments.

Available and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays to meet customer project commitments.

Excellent conflict resolution skills.
