Position Summary


The CFO will be a strategic partner, serving as a member of the executive leadership team and as a key advisor in the development of strategic plans; ensuring the linkage of those plans to annual budgets and forecasts.

Fostering high integrity and trusting relationships with the CEO, President & COO, Executive leadership team, investors, and employees. Being committed to Helinox's mission and entrepreneurial spirit.


This role requires a capacity to work with both a strategic and an operational focus, contributing to, and working within, the strategic purposes and plans of the organisation, but also bringing careful attention to the detail of operational implementation.

In sum, the Chief Financial Officer is responsible for:

- management of the organisation's financial performance
- strategic financial management, including cash flow, treasury, cost and revenue optimisation

  • Legal affairs and compliance including tax matters, contracts, and risk management
  • IT systems management in Korea and Singapore


IPO plans are in the future strategic roadmap, and the CFO is expected to play a key role in preparation for an IPO at the appropriate time.

Experience in taking a company through a private to public process is therefore beneficial.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the global finance organization, including financial planning & analysis (FP&A), accounting, tax, treasury, and risk management, with a focus on ensuring alignment with Korean regulations.
  • Directly manage Korean and Singapore accounting teams and coordinate with financial leaders in Europe and the United States.
  • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, including debt management and eventual IPO
  • Manage annual operating strategy including budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation, considering both global and Korean market dynamics.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Korean Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (K-GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, Lenders, Korean regulatory bodies, and international financial institutions
  • Analyze trends, ratios and other data derived from the balance sheet to assess the company's financial health
  • Develop and implement balance sheet management strategies: this could involve working capital management and asset management strategies.
  • Responsible for effective management of IT systems in Korea and Singapore and eventual integration of the SAP system used in Korea with the NetSuite system used everywhere else.
  • Partner with the CEO, COO and other members of the executive team to develop and implement the company's overall strategic plan, balancing global opportunities and risks
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, analysts, lenders, and government officials.
  • Lead and manage the global finance organization, ensuring all financial processes adhere to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Lead the communication of the company's financial story to investors and analysts, emphasizing the value proposition for shareholders.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with going public and operating as a public company.
  • Foster a culture of strong financial discipline and performance accountability within the organization.
  • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy for the IPO and beyond, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital management and allocation to support postIPO growth.
