About Willowmore:

We are a centrally located start-up technology company, specialising in Smart Access Control for critical infrastructure and we are currently experiencing strong growth.

As the company scales, we are looking to bring on a System Engineer who can help support us through our next phase of growth and our development roadmap.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain on premise & cloudbased environments
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of Linuxbased server infrastructure
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
Implement and manage virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM)
Monitor and analyse system performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Troubleshoot and resolve systemrelated issues Provide technical documentation and training for endusers and stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Proven experience in cloud infrastructure setup and maintenance (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
Strong knowledge of Linux systems (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM)
Proficient in at least one scripting language
Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef)
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Certification in cloud technologies is a plus
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
