**Management Trainee - Accounting and Costing**The Management Trainee is responsible for learning and developing the skills necessary to become a successful manager within the Accounting and Finance Department. This is a hands-on role that involves working closely with experienced managers to gain a deep understanding of the department's operations, processes, and challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with experienced managers to gain a deep understanding of the Accounting & Costing and Finance Department's operations, processes, and challenges
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other reports
- Participate in meetings and presentations to learn about the department's strategies, goals, and challenges
- Shadow managers to gain insight into their roles and responsibilities
- Complete relevant training and development programs to learn about accounting and finance principles, practices, and regulations
- Provide support to managers and other team members as needed
- Contribute to the development of new policies and procedures to improve the department's operations and efficiency
- Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- The ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing environments
- A professional demeanour and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
