The primary responsibility of manager, order and master data management, Asia is to play an active role in developing and implementing a supply chain planning strategy to support the transition to a standalone company.

This role will define in a startup environment, requires a high level of strategic thinking, communicate to executives and deploy the most cost-effective solutions leveraging 3PL's and implementing a new ERP solution.

The scope of the role encompasses, but is not limited to

  • Regional Supply Chain Order Management strategy and design
  • ERP implementation to standup embecta operation in Asia
  • Project Management and Execution, supporting the spin
  • Process excellence and supply chain operation effectiveness
  • Process governance & service quality management of external vendor Genpact


As a leader within the supply chain organization this position will support the development, testing and implementation of the embecta ERP system.

This role requires a strong working knowledge of ERP tools and capabilities, including data management and reporting.

To be successful in this position you will need to manage business requirements, project timelines, and cross functional alignment within region quality, regulatory, finance, and IT colleagues.

The leader, SCM order management, Asia, reports directly to the Director, Supply Chain, Asia.

As a member of the Asia supply chain Leadership Team, the incumbent will create and set supply chain order management strategy for how the supply chain will support regional sales while minimizing total cost to serve.

He/she is responsible for developing a strategy on how embecta interacts with its customers and play a critical role in channel strategy by influencing business decision within the region.

This role will be based in Singapore and cover the scope of Asia region consist of 5 main markets:
Australia and New Zealand, Japan, Korea, India, South East Asia.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy Development and Execution

  • Develop and implementation a new Asia order management process and tool to support business goals and meet all Asia customer's requirement.
  • Successfully lead the program management for separation of Supply Chain services from BD.
  • Ensure strategic and tactical initiatives for Supply Chain are effectively implemented to support business objectives
Order & Master data management operation

Provide necessary guidance and leadership for internal/external stakeholders with respect to various responsibilities:

  • Order processing, pricing validation, backorder management, discrepancy management and service/contract billings with additional processes to be included as required
  • Conduct Customer/Distributor Surveys and regular meetings with stakeholders to update performance, identify operation gaps/improvement opportunity
  • Review and analyze business processes and systems to identify risks and priorities for Supply Chain continuous improvement. Benchmark, understand and implement latest technology that will benefit embecta
  • Lead and participate in projects to devise and coordinate strategies on supply chain architecture, standardize policies, procedures and processes across programs and operational units
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are up to date.
  • Conduct Compliance audits and training as required.
  • Comply with ISO13485 requirements (for Order Management) and BD Policies
Key Supply Chain Operation Metrics and Business performance management

  • Design and monitor customer metrics target and performance indicators to control operational cost and quality
  • Identify projects to drive supply chain service level, operational efficiency & cost reduction.
  • Provide visibility to pipeline and performance data to ensure decision makers have the information to optimize total delivered costs and customer service levels.
  • Support WW and regional Supply Chain key initiatives to accomplish best in class supply chain metrics performance and improve production/distribution efficiencies and customer experience.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 10 to 12 years in Order Management and Master Data, with 4 to 5 years in a managerial capacity and 2 to 3 years in a shared services environment
  • Track record of improving customer experience and supply chain effectiveness while simultaneously improving operations cost
  • Experience working with metrics and performance indicators for continuous improvement
  • Experience managing continuous improvement projects and/or logistics and Trade digital transformation projects
  • ERP implementation experience and New Company Startup experience a plus.
