A Network Services Professional's mission is focused on:

  • Supporting the Enterprise Sales Strategy and Business Objectives relating to both Business Partners and Direct Touch activities by delivering billable Professional Services in APAC
  • Providing Technical Pre-Sales POC, Post-Sales Consultancy, Professional Services, Technical Issues Support and Escalation Support within the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) Sales/Marketing organization.
  • Providing technical competence on mainly NOKIA Network Infra (NI) portfolio of products (mainly GPON and IP/MPLS) as well as ALE Network products, solutions and services; Work closely with the Sales organization (Sales, Pre-Sales) in both Customer Technical Support and Professional Services activities as the "goto" person.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work closely with the Sales organization (Sales, Pre-Sales) in both Customer Technical Support and Professional Services activities, acting as a local technical point of contact for services business.
  • Support our Pre-Sales in the review, analysis and testing of current and new technology infrastructure and its ability to support strategic corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with NOKIA and ALE Technical Support Teams (L2 and L3) and ALE Escalation Manager on customer's escalated issues and assist onsite where require to troubleshoot, neutralize and resolve the highcomplexity problems.
  • Analyze Network configuration and design problems, and interface with Level 3 Technical Support, Engineering, Product Management, and other departments to address customer issues in the most effective manner.
  • Provide technical support onsite and remotely to our Business Partners and customers on escalated/critical customers' cases
  • Create and carry out test plans to ensure the solution operates as expected.
  • Arrange and participate in technical review meetings with Business Partners and Clients.
  • Support project/scope definition and Professional Services estimates in our offer
  • Provide quick response and resolution to ALE customer inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction with NOKIA NI products, which will result in future purchases of NOKIA as well as Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise products and services.
  • Provide billable Professional Services such as Consulting and Integration services such as Network Audits, Network Design, Customized documents/training/coaching to ALE Business Partners or/and End-Customers timely and professionally

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:

  • LAN Switching, L2/L3 IP/MPLS Services and POL/GPON/XGPON Post-Sales (Project Implementation and Technical Support) experience
  • Possess solid understanding of the competitive landscape and ability to articulate the Conduct and/or support POC with partners
  • Willing to learn and support other NOKIA NI products and technologies such as Optics/DWDM and ALE Wifi/LAN/NMS
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask and able to travel within APAC for support activities in the region
  • Ability to adapt their message to suit the context / customer
  • Excellent Presentation and communication skills
  • Indepth technical skills in focused LAN, POL and IP/MPLS technology; WLAN technologies a plus
  • Experience in working with customers and partners and resolving technical problems/challenges
  • Business Partners / VARs / Resellers experience
  • Expertise in Routing, Switching, POL and WLAN Protocols / Standards
  • Deep understanding of Layer2/3 Protocols, VLAN/VPLS, SPB, OSPF, Multicast, RADIUS, 802.1x, EAP, Network Management tools etc
  • Proven experience in designing or/and implementing LAN, POL/HPOL, IP/MPLS Solutions and integration to NMS, RADIUS, AD and multiple Client Devices
  • CCNA / CCNP / NRS I / NRS II level certification (or equivalent)

PROFILE:

  • Degree in Electronics/Communication Engineering or Computer Science/IT with 7 years of experiences or equivalent work experience of 10+ years with Diploma in Networking/IT/Computer.
  • 6 to 9 years of experience in customerfacing role desired (project, consulting and onsite troubleshooting), serving as a technical expert developing Enterprise/Campus Network endtoend customer solutions and resolving complex technical problems in multivendors environ
