    Description
    The Health Promotion Board (HPB) is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic candidate to advance health promotion through the deployment of cutting-edge research. The job holder will play an important role in developing and managing nutrition research tools and support the implementation of large-scale research cohorts that will facilitate the collection of rich learnings and data insights towards advancing health promotion through the translation of research to practice.

    Job Responsibilities

    The job holder will be a key contributor of the research and development team by:

  • Reviewing, updating and maintaining a local nutrient database
  • Assisting in the development of nutrition tools to support research and population programmes
  • Assisting in the development of technology-enabled research studies through research planning and administration, including participant recruitment and engagement
  • Ensuring the smooth implementation of end-to-end study activities and processes in compliance with regulatory, ethics and governance requirements
  • Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

  • Degree in nutrition, dietetics, or food science & technology
  • Preferably with at least 1-3 years of relevant working experience with application of nutrition or dietetics background. Candidates without relevant working experience but can demonstrate strong interest and aptitude in nutrition may be considered.
  • Keen interest and familiarity with local and international cuisines
  • Familiar with MS Excel and working with nutrition datasets
  • Able to multi-task and handle concurrent projects; works well in a fast-paced environment effectively
  • Strong problem solving and project management skills and able to think independently to offer resolutions to issues or barriers stakeholders may face
  • Familiarity with research and data analysis will be an added bonus
