Partnering with the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), RSI opened its door for IMH's clients to work at the RSI Pick n Choose Store.

This opportunity increases the clients' confidence, which helps in easing their way back into society and facilities their reintegration into the workforce.

RSI also strives to assist humanitarian needs in times of crisis and emergency, leveraging on its logistics network to deliever aid to crisis areas in the region quickly and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

About the Job

The Warehouse Coordinator supports the mission of Red Shield Industries, a social enterprise, highly regarded by the public for its excellent delivery of donation-in-kind service which is sensitive and responsive to the community welfare needs and meets the funding needs of The Salvation Army.

It is expected that the Warehouse Coordinator assists in facilitating the effective development and implementation of the system of managing incoming goods and outgoing saleable items to preserve their values and maximize efficiency so that we can optimize our contribution to meet our welfare needs.

Carry out duties with utmost personal integrity, reliability and keeping to time commitment.
Assist to develop a safe system to efficiency and productivity of the warehouse and workshop to support the collection of donated items; supplying, sorting, packing, repair, servicing, valued adding and timely distribution to the various stores.
Monitor all incoming and outgoing stock at respective Inbound and Outbound Transit area. Ensure proper management of stocks and storage.
Establish supervision for the reconditioning of furniture, electrical items, household items, etc. to meet targets
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse adhering to safety standards.
Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Assist the Manager in coordination with the Wholesale department, ensuring the timeline of shipments is met.
Assist in the receipt of return items from FTS
Assist in the preparation of delivery orders
Monitor and track warehouse KPIs.
Ensure that all items before delivery are of quality standards (Q.C.) and properly recorded
Submit accurate daily/monthly reports to the Manager.
Report any discrepancies/recommendations/proposals to the Manager promptly.
Ensure security, fire and hygienic control at the warehouse and workshop are maintained and free from blockage
Be properly attired, putting on Personal Protective Equipment when necessary, at all times
Adhere to all workplace safety rules and regulations
Attend all required meetings
Ensure all operating costs are within approved guidelines and budgets
Undertake any projects and specific duties as assigned by management from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

N/O level, ITE with relevant experience
Must possess a valid Forklift Licence

Working Hours
5.5 days work / 44 hours a week, 8.30am to 5.30pm
