    Roles & Responsibilities

    The Marketing Communications Executive/Assistant Manager creates and executes property-level communications with our customers. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communication, this role promotes on-brand messaging to customers through traditional, digital, and social media channels to enhance the hotel's image.

    This role helps build direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels to drive consumer awareness and preference, increase market share, and create a broader portfolio and brand awareness through hotel participation in significant community and social events and targeted PR campaigns. You will also assist with planning, discussing and coordinating all marketing and communication activities and the development of all marketing and advertising initiatives.

    A. Manage Brand Equity

    1. Analyse market research findings on brand awareness and association

    2. Perform analysis of reputation risk to determine business impact to organization

    3. Oversee branding, positioning, local strategy, campaign development and agency management

    B. Developing Marketing Strategies

    1. Executes annual marketing plan to budget in consultation with the Director of Sales and Marketing and Marketing and Director of Marketing Communications

    2. Partners with Operations, Food & Beverage and Sales teams to execute promotions and campaigns to target in-house guests with promotions that drive incremental revenue to the Hotel

    C. Manage Marketing Communications and Public Relations

    1. Acts as the liaison between the marketing department and advertising agency on the tactical advertising campaigns' creative and media plans, particularly for food and beverage and spa promotions

    2. Direct the Hotel's marketing and client communications programme, including public relations, media relations, copywriting, graphic design, collateral materials, customer experience activation and marketing

    3. Supports implementing PR strategy and activities to drive quality press coverage through media engagement in alignment with communications objectives

    4. Manage all media relations activities and information, including maintaining and distributing press kits, press releases, photo library, brochures, newsletters, key personnel biographies and hotel question and answer sheet

    5. Manages the execution of sponsored events, community relations, and press promotional activities

    D. Manage Marketing Campaigns and Events

    1. Maintains a comprehensive list of local media contracts, with particular emphasis on editors, food critics, influencers, and celebrities

    2. Ensure effective communication and the successful execution of the communications calendar by developing a schedule of press releases, advisories, promotions as well as newsworthy events taking place in and around the Hotel to the appropriate media

    3. Verifies the news clippings and other online, print, and social media mention report is completed monthly for property distribution

    4. Supports and manages the coordination of photography for advertising, collateral and public relations purposes between the Hotel, vendors and the corporate teams

    5. Acts as the point of contact for approved local photographers for food, amenity, and property imagery and coordinates to get approval to verify all photography adheres to brand voice
