Electrical Inspector - Singapore - NES GLOBAL PTE. LTD.

Description

The primary role of the Electrical Inspector will be to ensure the electrical systems and equipment are installed correctly. You will be responsible for inspection, witness of testing, and evaluating electrical components and systems to ensure compliance with local standards, contract specifications, and all safety requirements.

The Electrical Inspector shall be capable of performing the following duties on his own:

• Check installations of all electrical systems
• Review installation to ensure compliance with construction drawings
• Ensure installation has adequate space with operation and maintenance considerations
• Active role in technical discussions with contractors and equipment suppliers
• Witness the commissioning of electrical equipment
• Proper record keeping of all inspection/witness activities carried out
• Perform inspection for defects clearing.
• Ensure defects are cleared before signing off
• Carry out other inspection/witness activities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 5 years of inspection works in petrochemical plant, power plant or other heavy industries
