How you will create an impact


In this role, the Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner supports the AIG Travel business and owns the Travel Program of Work for the APAC region.

This person will identify, assess, research, and resolve complex issues related to needs of the APAC region program of work.

This person will be responsible for managing the backlog of requests, leading requirement refinement session, peer reviewing junior business analyst requests.

This person will also create a roadmap for efficiencies and improvements, reviewing and presenting to business unit leaders in the APAC countries and senior IT leadership as well as create process maps and requirements while collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the APAC business.


Responsible for the onboarding and support of Travel's APAC program of work supporting direct to consumer, partner and agency distribution channels throughout the APAC region.

Responsible for the requirements gathering, implementation, and communication of issues, compliance and regulatory policy and requests within the program of work.

Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
Create user stories.
Write acceptance criteria in collaboration with the testing team.
Review design and testing deliverables to ensure completeness of requirements.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Conduct training sessions with stakeholders and end users.
Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure external needs are met.
Work with legal on any contractual requirements.
Keep up to date on travel industry trends.
Upward management reporting of issues.
Manage internal and external business stakeholder relationships.
Manage issue tracking and resolution.

What you'll need to succeed

Good experience as a Business Analyst/Project Manager within the Travel or Insurance industry preferred.
Good experience as a Business Analyst working in Agile Methodology.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or other technical degree preferred.
Extensive knowledge of business analysis techniques and requirements tools.
Experienced in waterfall and agile methodologies. Knowledge of both preferred.
Ability to present information for decision making purposes with little or no direction.
Be self-empowered and know when to escalate issues appropriately.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
Experience working in a multinational company with on and offshore resources and familiarity with complex integrated systems.
Exceptional analytical, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills as well as relationship management skills.
Ability to effectively collaborate and work with project team members and stakeholders located globally to ensure success of project.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet delivery deadlines.
