- Enhance coping mechanisms and caregiving abilities of both patients and their families/caregivers.
- Contribute to palliative and end-of-life care by optimizing physical function and supporting activities of daily living, caregiving practices, and social engagements.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of patients' progress and activities for evaluation purposes.
- Provide accessible, efficient, and seamless services, managing clinical caseloads effectively.
- Drive cancer rehabilitation programs related to physical therapy in partnership with the rehabilitation team and other stakeholders.
- Promote cancer rehabilitation services within the community.
- Establish oncology-specific performance indicators to showcase clinical impact and service efficiency.
- Create and deliver educational materials tailored for oncology patients.
- Balance clinical responsibilities with service development and expansion efforts efficiently.
- Participate in the training of therapy assistants, junior physiotherapists, and physiotherapy students.
- Hold a Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized polytechnic or university sanctioned by the Ministry of Health under the Allied Health Professions Act (AHPC).
- Possess full registration with AHPC.
- Have a minimum of 4 years of pertinent work experience.
- Display willingness to work in a rehabilitative and palliative home care setting.
- Exhibit traits of compassion, patience, creative problem-solving, adaptability, and flexibility in treatment approaches.
- Demonstrate effective communication and interaction skills with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Work efficiently with medical professionals, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure optimal patient care.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of statistical packages is advantageous.
- Fluency in multiple languages, including dialects, is a plus.
