The Role
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Risk Manager role to join our inclusive and dynamic Group Business Assurance & Risk team, based at Clementi, Singapore
Reporting into the Global Head Internal Audit & Risk, you will work in a supportive and collaborative team that contributes to Toll's organisation wide risk transformation.
You will partner with Toll's business units/divisions and the senior leaders to operationalise the global enterprise risk management framework which ensures effective risk management processes are in place that supports strategic decision making and promotes a risk aware culture.
As Risk Manager, you will:
- Lead the delivery of professional enterprise risk services that maximise the longterm sustainability of Toll's profitability and return on capital.
- Engage with senior personnel within Toll's operating Business Units/ Divisions and Group Functions, to promote the company's values and the benefits of effective risk management.
- Lead Enterprise Risk workshops, develop risk profiles and drive innovation across the business and assure the longterm sustainability of its financial and operational performance.
- Develop customised risk and control registers/profiles and undertake detailed analytical discussion to support conclusions, recognise relevant themes and make connections that are not obvious to others.
- Foster and promote an organisational culture that encourages risks to be openly shared, discussed and addressed.
Qualifications:
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor of Commerce/Management degree
- Professional auditing designation required (CA or CPA and CIA)
- Experience working on complex organisations, drawing on a demonstrated capability in risk management, process design, risk workshop delivery, and analytical thinking is essential.
- Exposure to business practices and effective risk management approaches in developed and developing countries across Asia.
- Welldeveloped analytical skills and demonstrated capability of synthesising large, complex and varied sources of information into meaningful conclusions, trends and insights.
- Good emotional intelligence able to work constructively with people from various professional and cultural backgrounds to achieve joint outcomes.
