• Carried out piping fitup and visual inspections based on approved isometric drawings and project material specification.
• Facilitated daily site inspections by collaborating with classification surveyors and owner's representative.
• Conducted internal line walk and official line walk with the client representative, identifying noncompliant work and categorizing them into A & B punches, updated into the ITRs.
• Witnessed water/air flushing, hot oil flushing, chemical cleaning, and hydro jetting based on the flushing matrix and approved looping drawing.
• Actively witnessed Hydro tests to validate weld and flange joint integrity, as well as assess material strength under specific pressure conditions.
• Conducted flange management inspection, which involves verification of flange face, flange alignment, flange rating, usage of bolts and nuts, gasket rating based on color code and torque value.
• Performed alignment inspections for piping connections to vessels, vendor skids, exchangers, and various valves.
• Witnessed golden joint welding activities, following the golden joint register and procedure, verifying weld monitor sheets, and obtaining signoff from the client.
• Performed comprehensive reinstatement inspection to guarantee pipeline integrity and completeness. Conducted thorough compartment close out inspections to ensure work completeness prior to client handover.
• Executed Punch Closure inspections, securing necessary signoff from the client.
• Secured client approval for the weld traceability matrix by verifying testing boundaries, comparing P&ID with Isometric, and validating Welder Qualification, WPS, and NDT requirements.
• Prepared comprehensive NDT summary adhering to system requirements and obtained approval from the client.
• Conducted Quality inductions and safety briefings for new workers, ensuring their general safety and welfare.
• Performed audits and review of subcontractors' quality systems for suitability and execution.
• Identified nonconformities on site and raised internal quality observations, initiating review and corrective action plans.
• Resolved Site Quality Observations raised by clients through issue identification and thorough followup for case closure.
• Collaborated with thirdparty inspectors to witness Mechanical testing of materials, facilitating the conversion of Mill Certificate from type 3.1.
