    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services for our diverse range of clients. This role will involve architecting cloud solutions that enhance scalability, reliability, and performance, particularly utilizing Generative AI technologies where applicable. We are particularly interested in talented individuals in Mexico who are willing to relocate to the United States for this opportunity. We will assist with the TN visa process to facilitate your move to the U.S. Once you land a project in the U.S., you will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. This is a full-time consulting opportunity where you will be working with several clients across the United States.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure using services from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    • Develop and deploy cloud-native applications and services, integrating Generative AI solutions as needed.
    • Optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance, leveraging automation tools and techniques.
    • Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and DevOps teams to create and manage cloud-based data solutions.
    • Implement CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services and applications to ensure high availability and performance.
    • Define and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, security, and governance.
    • Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and mentoring sessions for junior cloud engineers.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
    • Experienced in writing code
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Advanced English (written/spoken) as you will be working on U.S.-based projects.
    • Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with their respective services.
    • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices for cloud environments.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
    • Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance best practices in cloud environments.
    • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK Stack).
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to design and implement cloud solutions that support data-intensive applications.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Generative AI technologies and their deployment in cloud environments.
    • Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices.
    • Contributions to open-source cloud projects or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
    • Experience working with U.S.-based companies within your career.

    Interview Process:

    • You will interview with a Senior Recruiter (30 minutes).
    • Panel Technical Interview with a live Subject Matter Expert and VP of Tech (will involve practical exercises and architectural discussions).
