Consortio have partnered with a world leading marine consultancy.

The company has been running and leading the market for over 100 years and are known as the go to firm for forensic analysis, expert witness work and casualty investigation.

They provide specialist advice on a wide range of inter-disciplinary including nautical services, marine engineering and non-destructive testing. Due to the company's ongoing success they are looking to hire a Master Mariner.

As a Master Mariner you will be carrying out investigations and performing onsite surveys relating to master mariner matters. You may be needed to provide expert evidence in court and report findings of investigations and attendances.

To be eligible for this role you need to:

Be a qualified master mariner.
Have very good communication skills.
Have experience sailing as master on a tanker or container ship (ideally for 2 years).
Be a highly motivated and proactive individual.
Have good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
