The company
Our client is one of the dynamic and growing global logistics companies with its presence around the globe. The company provides airfreight, sea freight, customs brokerage, local transportation, warehousing, and distribution services.

They provide logistics and supply chain solutions to aerospace, automotive, chemical, oil & gas, wine and spirits, and manufacturing industries.


Reporting to the Regional Director of Account Management, the Regional Account Manager will be responsible to manage multiple accounts ideally in a single industry in the region they are working with the Global Strategic Account Manager and Regional Account Managers in the other Regions.

To provide both strategic and tactical leadership to the National and Local Account teams.


The role

  • To manage overall business relationships; customerfacing
  • To increase consistency in operational performance, SOP creation & distribution, report creation, monitoring, and distribution.
  • Improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Market analysis/industry awareness.
  • To guide and mentor local Account Managers.
  • Drive collaborative efforts within the team, supporting and sharing best practices in the following key areas: Customer reviews, Strategic Business Plans, Value add programs, Process Improvements, Bid Management and Technology Offerings.

The requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • At least 35 years of successful sales or account management or operations experience in freight forwarding, logistics, and/or transportation industry.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Good knowledge of transportation, logistics, and freight forwarding industry.
  • Good knowledge of successful sales techniques.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detailoriented, ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Selfmotivated, able to work independently and in a team.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$7, $9,000.00 per month
