[What the role is]

Conduct research and analysis to strengthen the organisational policy and planning process.

[What you will be working on]

Develop and review strategic policies to ensure the organisation remains responsive to changes in the internal/external environment. This includes identifying policies for review, gathering and analysing data, and developing and presenting evidencebased policy recommendations.
Collaborate on and manage research projects to ensure quality and sound research contributing to strengthened policy, planning and engagement functions. This includes conceptualising research studies, procuring research services, liaising with project partners and stakeholders, monitoring project deliverables, sensemaking of findings and developing and presenting recommendations.
Identify key research areas and activities for future strategic plans and/or develop plausible future scenarios to ensure the organisation is anticipatory and remains resilient in upcoming developments and future challenges.
Drive initiatives to build policy, research and programme evaluation capabilities and culture within the organisation. This includes developing forums for discussions and building and sustaining platforms for organisational resources.
Support strategic planning functions. This includes facilitating planning and performance reporting sessions.
Forge and strengthen policy and research partnerships with relevant agencies, academics, think tanks and NGOs.

[What we are looking for]

At least 3 years' experience in related field e.g., Policy development, Quantitative or Qualitative data analysis & research, Statistical analysis and/or Basic data analytics, Project management.
Strong interest in current affairs especially socioreligious issues.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to engage internal and/or external partners and stakeholders.
Strong analytical & problemsolving skills.
Passionate learner and eager to try new approaches.
