    What the day will look like

  • Achieve team goals of growth, profitability & increasing market share in Japanese business mainly by assisting with administrative support
  • Help develop and maintain leads and opportunities; penetrate existing business; cross sell within Aon.
  • Manage existing Japanese accounts
  • Facilitate smooth handover of Closed Won business to account managers when needed.
  • Help Identify and implement regional Japanese business sales strategies, initiatives & events in liaison with Japan Global Solutions, Head of Dept, team S&M Head, Regional Business Development Director, Sales & marketing team, Marketing Dept and/or others as required.
  • Advise & negotiate with clients, underwriters and stakeholders
  • Supporting responses to tenders and developing quality presentations as needed, working with the relevant country and regional expertise
  • Accurate & timely maintenance of systems, billings and data entry; reporting & forecasting
  • Deliver a consistently high and reliable service standard
  • Know, understand and accurately utilize the products and insurers available in the market
  • Help identify, develop & implement efficient team operational sales & marketing processes
  • Build successful long term business relationships & professional network.
  • Performing other duties and tasks as reasonably assigned by your Manager and members of the Regional Leadership Team
  • Contributing, as required, to Health Solutions Asia and Global Benefits APAC initiatives
  • Engaging with all internal country and regional teams to bring the best of Aon to the client, and in particular by working closely with Global Benefits APAC and HS Asia teams
  • Maintaining a continual professional development standard through Aon University and any other industry driven licensing (not relevant if not providing client advice) or educational requirements
  • Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Degree or Diploma from a recognised university or polytechnic
  • Minimum regulatory requirements (BCP, PGI. CommGI, HI, M5, M9) for registration as Broking and FA rep with MAS
  • Business proficiency in Japanese and English
  • 5 years or more in the related experience (Japanese business)
  • Analytical, critical thinking and decision making
  • Good skills on MS systems including Word, Excel, Powerpoint required
