What the role is

  • This role will support the development of the OneMSF database, to collect and analyse data on organisations and resourcing for the social service sector.

What you will be working on

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Implementing a new database that will support policy formulation, sector planning and programme reviews by MSF/NCSS.
  • Developing policies and guidelines for the regularisation of social service sector data.
  • Developing business specifications and processes to digitise and optimise data collection, compilation, analysis and sharing.
  • Supporting MSF/NCSS divisions in discovering insights through data analysis and visualisation, and developing use cases for their data.
  • Supporting the Manpower Planning team in analysis of manpower data to inform reviews of manpower policies for the sector.

What we are looking for

  • Functional/ Technical Competencies
  • Strong analytical, systemsthinking and conceptualisation skills.
  • Strong data skills (including data management, analytics, visualisation).
  • Proficiency in the following software is an advantage: Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SAS.
  • Relevant work experience in data projects is preferred.
  • Ability to balance strategic objectives with practical ground realities.
