Objective of Job

The mission is to be a key contributor to strengthening Dyson's leadership position, as a global technology company, in Singapore/ SEA, by building and driving corporate-level campaigns, and story-telling initiatives, and deepening Dyson's relationship with key business and technology media.

We are looking for someone who is excited to tell Dyson's stories to the world.

They will know how to find and tell positive stories proactively and how to bring them to life for different audiences.

Brief Task Description

You will help us to shape the best possible strategy for reputation communications based on building, enhancing and protecting Dyson's global reputation as leading global technology company and employer of choice.
You will discover the stories that set Dyson apart, whether in our research and development or our people and spaces investments in Singapore and SEA. You will drive and pitch Dyson engineer speaking opportunities, as well as support Dyson senior executives in their external engagements.
Support in monitoring, analysing and responding to media coverage related to Dyson in a timely way, including incident and reputation management.
Assist with a programme of proactive engagement with journalists to ensure consistently highlevel coverage with a focus on quality, rather than quantity.
Work with the Corporate Affairs and Reputation Director
East, and other global colleagues, to identify emerging issues and opportunities facing the organisation and design strategies to manage their impact including crisis management.
Support the team on local corporate affairs outreach, including brief preparations, event setup etc.
Additional responsibility for mentoring graduates in the Communications team.

Qualifications:

Proven record in Communications, preferably in corporate and technology communications, with minimum 8 years experience in PR agency, inhouse (technology or consumer preferred) or as a journalist.
Excellent writing, editing, communications and project management skills.
Ability to build and effect change at both a people and process level.
Experience working directly with senior executives on how to communicate their vision and narratives in a way that positively impacts company reputation.
Bachelor's Degree or above, advanced academic record will be preferred
