Regional Business Controlling Manager (SEA)


Our client is one of the key players in the retail industry which has been established for more than 25 years.

You will be supporting the Southeast Asia region of the business.


About the Role:


As the Regional Business Controlling Manager, you will act as the key business partner to the business in ensuring the profitability of the business performance by taking ownership of forecasting, budgeting and analysing, including ensuring the P&L balance sheet accounting accuracy.

You will also be responsible for accounting matters including accounting operations.

  • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and analysing processes, as well as the full P&L ensuring financial targets
  • Business partnering with the HODs to provide insights on relevant reporting and analysis to influence business decisions and presenting accurate business performance
  • Responsible to oversee and providing support to the relevant business units on all accounting operations matters including cost control responsibility
  • Analyze the business risk and preparation of backup plan for business target achievement
  • Identify the main key performance indicators in accordance with the business needs
  • Partnering with the business to develop short term and long terms business strategy plan
  • Improve internal control processes to ensure efficiency are met
  • Actively participating in projects across the region

Job Requirement:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Controlling roles with regional coverage
  • Preferably with working experience in retail industry and has managed large volumes of transactions
  • Strong capability in FP&A and Accounting Operations
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing environment and business needs constantly
  • Strong communication skills and able to manage senior stakeholders
