DESIGNATION :
Senior Accounts Specialist


RESPONSIBILITIES
You will support the finance team in handling day-to-day finance matters. Handle AR functions such as reconciliations, month-end closing and reporting, audit schedules. Point of contact to the business.

  • Ensure claims are submitted within the timeframe and according to the clauses as stated in the Grant Agreement.
  • Liaise with various government personnel on claim submission, if required.
  • Perform monthly closing (journal posting) on grantrelated accounts.
  • Timely update and review of grant balance sheet schedules.
  • Monitor the grant receivables and ensure timely receipt of grants.
  • Perform quarterly submission and reconciliation of ILTC report.
  • Assist with tracking and monitoring grant utilization.
  • Assist with yearly grant audits, including internal audits.
  • Assist with PO issuance, accounts closing, taxexempt receipts issuance, etc., for a newly set up company.
  • Assist the Senior Grant Manager with Ahhoc duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in maintaining partial/full sets of accounts
  • Prior experience with grant administration will be an advantage
  • Knowledge in SAP and proficient in MS Office will be added advantage
  • Meticulous with eyes for accuracy, committed, discreet and team player
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
