Description
Our client is a SGX listed group which is well established in the real estate/REIT industry. Its global HQ is in Singapore and the office is based in town.

This position reports to both the VP, Finance and AVP Finance.

The role will manage a team of 2 (1 acct and 1 exec) with the following key functions:


Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of 2 who are responsible for the financial reporting including daily operations for the companies in Singapore directly held by the group
  • Work with hotel asset management team and accounting team for a real estate entity on monthly financial closing as well as payment and monitoring of asset enhancement initiative
  • Work with outsourced accounting team at another real estate 2 entities (one based in Indonesia) on monthly financial closing
  • Review of annual statutory accounts and XBRL filing
  • Review of accounting transactions and controls in accordance with the limit of authority to ensure financial reporting
  • Coordination of quarterly reforecast and annual budget
  • Review monthly cashflow forecast
  • Review quarterly GST submission
  • Work with corporate tax department (where relevant) to ensure tax compliance timeline are adhered to and CITQ are addressed
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents and external service provider (e.g. XBRL service provider);
  • Support system implementation and upgrading to Navison
  • Develop and coach a highperformance team which can work effectively work within the finance department and across different Business Units
  • Manage adhoc projects when assigned

Requirements:


  • Bachelor of Accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience in auditing and/or financial/accounting role
  • Prior experience in real estate industry is an added advantage
  • Team Player with excellence interpersonal skills

Plus points:
The co allows hybrid work arrangement (i.e. 1 day WFH).

The role is based in CBD.

This role will manage staff

The co pays 13th AWS and var bonus
