Description
Core Key Responsibilities• Be the Tech lead to drive production readiness for a new platform rollout, and transition to L3 Support for the application.
• Knowledge of 3 Tier transaction banking applications, experience manage complex production support for Java and Oracle based systems.
• Good understanding of Quality and DevOPS processes, demonstrated experience in tools and hands-on implementation of these processes in Development.
• Good expertise in tools – Confluence, JENKIS, BIT-Bucket and ALDON for change mgmt.
• Experience working with vendors and prioritize readiness and fixes to production
• Responsible for aspects of production readiness for new systems, engagement with stakeholders and ensure strict process monitoring and controls.
• Focus on right process and change management for production implementation needs
• Hands on need to setup jobs for file transfer and monitoring – ensure hands on work with CONTROL-M, Connect Direct scripts and file transfer verification
• Monitor and manage risks /issues related to system production implementation
• Partner with Architects to ensure solution right deployment principles alignment
• Drive quality and productivity outcomes, ensure timeliness in task monitoring and completion
• Manage overall production stability of the applications, focus on pro-active monitoring and issues resolution.
• Plan project efforts to upgrade, enhance and maintain systems at supported release levels –focus on tech obsolesce, audit and control needs once the systems go-live Key Requirements
• Prior IT experience implementing large scale, highly available applications or other large program implementation.
• Experience of banking projects implementation particularly in Open systems in Transaction banking ; knowledge of Trade and Supplier Financing domain desired
• 10+ Years working in complex production support environment and managing stakeholders
• 5 or more years' experience managing third party vendor relationships and offshore development teams to achieve business outcomes
• 5 or more years' experience at a manager level or above delivering global IT capabilities for a multi-national company with annual budgetary responsibilities
• 5 or more years' experience at a manager level in a multi-channel brand business environment
• Solid foundation in service-oriented technologies to be able to understand service interdependencies and drive towards technical solutions for multi-tiered systems
• Detail oriented, yet able to look at a wide array of choices & identify what truly matters
• Ability to work independently and excellent problem solving skills is a must
• Proven results-oriented person with a focus on delivery
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units; good knowledge of excel and PowerPoint preparation
