    Our IT Division works in close partnership with EDB's business divisions to drive digital transformation. We build digital products that leverage technology to improve EDB's operational efficiency, create exceptional customer experience and deliver enhanced business value for EDB.     [What you will be working on]

    We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our team. We are a team of passionate and creative technology professionals committed to using modern software development practices such as product management, design thinking, agile and devops to achieve EDB''s business objectives. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle of one of our core digital product offerings which is used by companies in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity for a technology professional looking to build on competencies and experience.

    Key roles and responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle of assigned digital products, from planning to execution in support of EDB strategy or digital objectives.
  • Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and improve existing products
  • Develop and maintain a vision and product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and customer needs
  • Work closely with stakeholders and across teams to define product requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
  • Oversee product design and development including setting time frames and clear deliverables
  • Implement product roll out and communication plan and provide support throughout the product life cycle including reviews where needed.
  • Establish and ensure appropriate governance functions for the product in accordance with Singapore Government and enterprise policies, practices and on behalf of the executive sponsor.
  • Lead and manage project team members throughout the product life cycle to ensure that product goals are accomplished on schedule, within budget, and in line with business objectives.
  • Conduct procurement activities such as tenders and requests for proposals to obtain solutions and services for the delivery of the product.
  • Review proposals or plans (internal or provided by external service provider) to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of available departmental resources to various project phases.
  • Partner with the Information Security colleagues to conduct risk assessment and mitigation and ensure compliance with government and EDB policies, risk management, implementation, change management and system performance.
  • Establish standards and procedures for reporting and documentation.
  • Continuously benchmark team product performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity.
  • Lead and manage a team of support personnel to provide ongoing run-and-maintenance of IT systems.
  • [What we are looking for]

    To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in product management working with various business units to launch and manage complex and high-risk products.
  • Strong knowledge of product management methodology and experience, or familiarity with major frameworks implementing Agile principles, e.g., XP (preferred), Scrum, Kanban, Lean Development. Product or Project Management Professional training and certification will be an added advantage, e.g., PMI, Prince II, MSP.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken; including ability and experience in influencing, engaging and managing stakeholders across all levels of seniority internally and externally
  • Possess a driven, self-motivated, and positive attitude, excellent work ethic and is a team player.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and build high-performing product teams.
